Notes

A mixed match between East Sussex and West Sussex was reported in the Sussex Agricultural Express on 24 September 1920. Major W W Grantham captained the East Sussex eam and Mr W J Chalk captained West Sussex.

Among the spectators were Lady Lewis and son, General Borodaile, Major Boynton, Mrs and Miss Chalk, Mrs W W Grantham, Mr and Mrs T Eggar and Mr and Mrs Douglans Hancock.

Mrs Herbert Whitfeld and Miss Marion Orme umpired and the scorers were Mr H K Newton MP and Mr A K Fagg.

A silver collection was taken on the ground in aid of the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
