Wet and windy, play was halted halfway through the OW innings as heavy rain swept across the field. Three of the usual OW team were away and fielding reserves OW won the toss and opted to bat so as to try and post a large total that they could defend. For OW Henry Comber one of the reserve fielders played brilliantly and took a very good catch, Derek Barton in his first game this year batted and bowled well. The OW girls continued to play well. BL batted well, especially Bekki who refused to be contained by the OW fielding until bowled by Beth, BL posted a good score and fielded well but in the end the OW batting was too strong.
